And how will I eat?

Well, I have the answer now for those folks, including Edwin, who wondered outloud or silently how I would eat while Ed was in culinary school 6 evenings a week.

To date, I have a few great tactics at work:

1)  Dine with friends.  I had the most enjoyable meal at a new restaurant, Burger Jones, a few days ago, with a friend who loves fries and burgers just as much as I do and has no hesitation in indulging.  He has traveled around the world and always engages me in my dreams to see the world again.  In addition, after 2 drinks I cannot seem but want to play matchmaker – he is GREAT guy!! – and he indulges me as well.

The day before I had a long lunch with a new friend, a very young and impressive woman I recently met through the local women’s health care leadership organization.  With nearly 30 years between our relative ages, we sat for 2-1/2 hours and discovered that we have lots in common – being raised by a single parent, being orphaned at a young age, all the challenges of being born the oldest of two sisters, etc.

I am quite sure that the nutritional nourishment I garner from these meals is the least of the nourishment I receive.  I am so blessed.

2)  Eat without regard for repetition.  I realized this as I finished my 3rd burrito earlier today.  "Chef" as Ed’s professor is known, will sometimes prepare items while the students are cooking, and then this food comes home with the students.  A few days ago we received 4 wonderful chicken burritos.  I had one for lunch yesterday, one for dinner and another today.  This works too.

3)  Yogurt.  It’s a good thing I love this stuff.  And there is a flavor that is appropriate for any meal.

So, I am not too often hungry, physically anyway.  I sorely miss Ed being here every evening and having him to talk with, even just about the events of a perfectly normal day.  I am incredibly proud of him for tackling college in mid-life and could not be happier for his resultant happiness at doing so, and yet I miss simply seeing him more hours of the day.  ‘A reminder, I guess, that nothing worthwhile is gained without sacrifice.

  3. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism
or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of unique content I’ve
either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over
the web without my agreement. Do you know
