Another one bites the dust…

It seems like I have about 6 stories to tell from the last week:

Casey Jones and the Gay Men’s Chorus Holiday Concert

Socko and Jocko, the lobsters fresh from New Bedford, MA and their adventures at the airport bar

and my 34 hour weekend spent reaching a long-term goal of becoming certified in coaching.

I’ve been coaching for a long time, and have engaged in a number of varying training programs and enjoyed each of them.  I love having the different experiences and skills to utilize during coaching.  And for at least 4 years I’ve been evaluating the value of certification.  And now I’ve done it and I can call myself a Certified Coach Practitioner.  It was a brutal process at the end – an entire weekend in a hotel conference room with 8 other coaches with no breaks for lunch or anything else.  Practice, practice, practice – I felt like I could coach at Carnegie Hall by Sunday evening.

We had a great Master Coach, Cindy Liska, who makes even the impossible seem easy.

So, I’m proud of myself, thankful for my clients who trust me with their work, and committed more than ever to never giving up on moving forward.  Life is good.
